So last night I had the opportunity to meet up with some Knoxville bloggers.

We decided on Kabuki which is a sushi place here in town. It was delicious. And so were the many bottles of wine that we downed.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, this was taken on my phone.

From left to right: Jessica from The Pink Growl.

We meet around 6pm and closed the place down. Such a fun bunch of ladies!

Rebekkah and I went to see The Heat aftwerwards.

Let me just tell you that lots of sushi and lots of popcorn DO NOT mix. I had what my (almost) two year old niece calls a "tummy ache."

The movie was awesome. Sandra Bullock is one of my all time favorite actors and I've loved Melissa McCarthy since Gilmore Girls.

We laugh throughout the movie and I had a perma-smile plastered on my face the entire time. SO funny. I recommend seeing it this holiday weekend.

I also really want to see The Lone Ranger, which comes out tomorrow I think.

Hope you all are having a fabulous Tuesday.
You can find me at the pool today with a book and a Strawberita in hand.

  1. I'm super jealous! Looks like tons of fun! I'm from Bristol/Johnson City - I know I'm not Knoxville but I'm only an hour away and would love to meet up next time!! :)

  2. I am new to the blogging world and just recently (April) moved to Knoxville from CA. I would love to meet up with you guys one day, and get any and all info on this lovely new city, as well as helful info on the blogging world.

  3. OOOh I am from Knoxville too and would love to meet up with y'all the next time that you get together! :)
    :) Rebecca

  4. Aww sounds like fun!! I wish more people around me blogged. :(

  5. Jealous is an understatement of how I feel about this. I'm driving the 8+ hours next time to join. :)

  6. Yay it was so much fun! I'm stealing that picture too btw!
And now I really want to see that movie!!

  7. Ohh I wasn't to go to a meet up that would be so fun. Gilmore Girls is my favorite show ever! I always feel like I loved Melissa McCarthy way before she got "famous."
