JUST BECAUSE: I PRAYED I WOULDN'T HAVE TO GO UP STAIRS.

So I mentioned a few days ago that I was going to try my first Barre class.

I loved it.

Monday morning I got up and forced myself to go to the class.

I was really hungover tired and wanted to stay bra-less with no pants on for most of the day.. Who wouldn't enjoy that?

Well I marched my lazy butt to the class and before I knew it, I was really enjoying myself.
And I was sweating. A lot.

After that I was feeling pretty brave.

I drove to a near by park and completed a day of C25K... You know, that program that I have started like 30 times and have never finished.

Anyways, Yesterday I woke up feeling like I would die if I had to go up stairs. My legs were so sore that I decided to skip a day.

Unfortunately Barre is super expensive but G said that If I really wanted he would build me a barre so I can have one at the house. I may or may not have swooned a little.

What are your favorite workout activities?

  1. I have heard that it is a lot of fun....but I don't know if it's for me. I really love Zumba, though. It's a little more my speed.

  4. I've heard so much about these classes and really want to try one. I'm not thrilled about spending the money, but it sounds like such a great workout!

  5. Working out hung over is hard!!! Did pilates once after a late night, it was rough! My favorite form of exercise is simply walking for an hour or two. It clears my mind and helps my circulation. I also love Falung Gong which is similar to Tai Chi.

  8. I've been wanting to try a barre workout. I see a lot of deals on groupon and there's a studio near my house. You may have inspired me to look a little more into this... :) And that is SO sweet that he would build you a barre!
